Hannah McKinley Smith

Hannah McKinley Smith has been with Hasty Pope since 2018, starting as a paralegal intern fresh out of Reinhardt University, where she majored in sociology and criminal justice. Over the years, she’s worked her way up from intern to legal assistant to intake specialist, to paralegal and now to senior litigation paralegal. Having held multiple roles within the firm, Hannah has a unique understanding of every aspect of the job, from intake to litigation, because she’s done it all herself.

Day-to-day, Hannah is deeply involved in every stage of a case. She connects with clients during intake, helps manage their medical treatment, gathers vital records, communicates with important parties in the case, and works closely with the attorneys to prepare and file lawsuits, and even attend mediations and hearings. Her hands-on experience and broad knowledge of personal injury law make her an essential part of the team and a trusted resource for clients.

What Hannah loves most about her work is the relationships she builds with clients. She knows how overwhelming and emotional these situations can be, and she takes pride in guiding clients through the process with care and clear communication. Having risen through the ranks, Hannah brings unmatched insight and dedication to every case she works on.
