Kacie Primato

About
Kacie Primato brings a lifetime of service to her role as a senior paralegal at Hasty Pope. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia, Kacie began her career as a Georgia Pre-K teacher, nurturing young minds before making the leap into the legal world in 2016.
Starting out in bankruptcy law, Kacie spent four years managing bankruptcy proceedings under an appointed North Georgia Trustee and representing creditors before transitioning to personal injury law in 2020—an area she felt more closely aligned with her passion for helping people. At Hasty Pope, Kacie focuses on supporting individuals who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence, guiding clients through the unfamiliar and often stressful legal process with compassion and care.
Her daily work includes handling intake calls, setting up new cases, verifying insurance, tracking medical treatment, negotiating settlements, and communicating directly with clients every few weeks to ensure they stay informed and supported. Kacie takes pride in helping clients understand and navigate the entire insurance process as well as helping them understand how settlement values are tied to their injuries and medical expenses.
Outside of work, Kacie’s heart for service continues—she’s a proud mother to six children (three boys and three girls) and has been working since the age of 14, always in roles dedicated to taking care of others. She loves being part of the Gainesville office and working closely with Jon Pope, noting how he treats every client like family and how that mindset carries through the entire team’s approach. For Kacie, being part of Hasty Pope means standing up for people when they need it most and making sure no client ever feels alone in their fight for justice.
